A lot of clients have referred to me as a Gay Celebrant, but I prefer to use the term of Equality Celebrant, because equality is my core belief.

Steve was recommended to us by a few different friends. We met Steve over coffee in 2019 to plan our wedding on our 20th anniversary of being together. He made us very comfortable and understood what we wanted for our day. Plans changed of course due to COVID pandemic. We postponed 3 times during the pandemic due to lockdowns.
Steve was always kind and understanding. We decided that after 2 years of postponing, we couldn't wait any longer. We had planned a friends picnic and get-together just before Christmas 2021 so we decided a surprise wedding on that day. Steve was all for it. All our close friends were there and we'd dressed for a picnic. We slipped out to the car, got changed, our music started and we walked into the picnic area. Our friends were over the totally surprised! Steve did a wonderful ceremony.
